Service Description
The MLCO is a management-level role which is responsible for the firm's AML/CTF policies controls and procedures. It also encompasses duties relating to the vetting of staff, independently auditing the policies, appointing an MLRO and communicating the policies to the whole staff. The MLRO, on the other hand, is a role which entails receiving reports from staff, investigating where relevant and passing reports on to the National Crime Agency. But there is more to it than just that....
